Dear friends as you can guess from the banner above, we are moving to our new beta site http://indiefunda.com/.  We are building it to work as community based platform for all the people who love music. I personally invite you all to sign up there and start writing your own posts about your or others people music. The Motorcocks

band's history:


the band was created on february of 2011 by Lucas Sabbath  (Lucas Widmar Pelisari ) , Guitar player and vocals of The Motorcocks.
quarreled with their parents for not supporting him in his musical career ... So, he go to other city, to live alone, working for his own money.
He start recording his own ideas for musics (speeding on the road, and badass rock n roll musics) ...
He know Elvis Siqueira (other guitarrist) and Eber Peretto ( bassist) , now they'll release the first album of The MotorCocks band,  intituled "Badass Rock n Roll" ...
Will be released on august, but in july we will have two new musics do download.

FORMATO AUDIO KOMPRENSIVO


 Saro ST plays stoner guitar, lovely sweat, perfect pain and melodies sad, complains and envy. Steve play guitar whit chilly & aliens. Luca LH play the bass whit head and after hands.Tonio play focus/metal drum, whitout ride (he splits it).

Since 2008 FORMATO AUDIO KOMPRENSIVO. With an independent agency RFB began their musical journey in the hot season of 2008. They played with Marta sui Tubi, Volt Voice, Bohemien, Soundmachine, Ilenia Volpe and other amazing underground bands. They play also for INEED FESTIVAL, ITALIA ROCK EMERGENCY, I LOVE SICILY.

THE DEBUT EP "FAK2010"

In 2010 they autoproduced their first demo/Ep "FAK 2010", recorded in the Overflow Studio, Catania. Produced by Aspec Modica and mastered by Alfredo Gentili, Cesena (STADIO sound-engineer). Many thanks to the Art director Elda Carbonaro.com. They decide to move and start promoting the album in England. They came to London in the second week of September 2010 and their adventure begins here, for a concert on Halloween 2010. They played a lot af gigs, around London, open-mic and show case and they like party for their fans. The EP is available in digital store by Ladymusicrecords.

Peter Wright


Born and raised in Croydon, South London UK, moved to Warwick in the Midlands UK at the age of 18, married and raised 3 children, 2 daughters and a son, started playing guitar and keyboard at the age of 26, gigged through the 1980's in various bands. In the late 1990's/2000 decided i'd prefer a more laid back approach to musical creation and spent more time recording my own sounds, my daughters joined me as backing vocalists, i guess you could say "it's now a musical family affair". Having been through the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's etc of musical genres i now love to play into any sounds, all i can say is....Bring it on lets rock!

Maya-Rose

Maya-Rose is a 16 year old female multi-instrumentalist and vocalist from Knysna, South Africa. She has written and performed her own original material, as well as covers, being influenced by bands such as Nirvana, Radiohead, The Dresden Dolls, as well as Florence + the Machine. Maya-Rose has recorded professionally at Peace of Eden Studios in Knysna, and is currently working on recording more of her material from home.

Bedell Metz

My name's Bedell Metz, I'm 22 years old and I'm from Laurens, S.C., Southeastern United States.
My father played music his whole life, and from the time I could leave the house, I was going to band practice. I grew up around musicians, and they've been ever present in my life. I was essentially born into music. I began playing at age 11, things I had grown up listening to like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix,Bon Jovi, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac and the like, and around the time I began to play, Alice In Chains, Candlebox, Marcy's Playground,Counting Crows and Smashing Pumpkins were all over my radar. I got into Clapton, and followed Blues back to before Robert Johnson, was awed by Yengwie Malmsteen, Stevie Ray Vaughaun, Buddy Guy, John Mayer, Dave Matthews and such, and I immersed myself in it. I play acoustic shows, do session work, and am involved in several collaborations with various artists. I'm a singer, a songwriter, and a guitarist. Blues, Rock, and Alternative I suppose are my genres. John Lennon is my hero, and Bob Dylan is one of my favorite people breathing.

Hijacked

Hijacked was born in November 27th, 2008. We started our first debuted in UKM BAND Institute Technology of Telkom, Bandung. Many experiences and covering band's song had been arranged in this band. Until we're agree to started making our own music. 
We shared many things in lyric. Speak about social circumstances, life, love, figures and dreams. We don't treat first our mind to created our song for payment, we gonna be rich when all of the people's ear would be HIJACKED by content of our music. 
We created all of these songs together, it tastes like Garage rock, British rock, Modern Rock n' Roll, Psychedelic, Alternative and many more.

Jacob Stripp

I have been playing since i was 10 years old and have been extremely influenced by guitarists Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and Eddie Van Halen. I listen to a variety of music from melodic death metal like 'In Flames' to instrumental music from 'Andy Mckee' and 'Dominic Gaudious'. I try to play various styles of music to get new ideas to develop my own style of playing from funk to hard rock. I love to analyse and read music, i find orchestral music really interesting and love to learn how it was written and what idea's were used from composers such as Haydn and Tippett.

In 1984 a culture shock shook Betty Donelly after hearing THE CURE on the home radio ..
After being in THE FEAR, and THE ELEPHANTS, which led to her evolving into a band leader and multiinstrumentalist, BETTY DONELLY really kicked off her solo act when she wrote MY UNTOUCHABLE FRIEND and THE VOID in 2004.
Now, in 2010, with numerous positive explosive comments and reviews, Betty Donelly is ready to take on the world by surprise with her 90 minute set of absolute wonderful gems of songs, most of which can be found on her debut album ...

The Mad Pride


'The Mad Pride' is the brainchild of singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Rowan Galagher. Having been compared to Syd Barrett, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Radiohead and Leonard Cohen, all attempts to pigeon-hole his music within a genre-based paradigm of stylistic reductionism have failed.

During 2009 and 2010 Rowan released 3 original albums in which he moved seamlessly from avant-garde psych-folk experimentation to neoclassical soundscapes and beyond. His DIY ethic has motivated him to play the majority of the instruments himself and record them alone in his Wollongong based apartment.

With an uncompromising commitment to emotional authenticity and a wider goal of positive social change, Rowan is driven to make honest and progressive music. He is constantly pushing the boundaries of conventional genres and seeks to forge a new platform in the contemporary musical landscape. It would appear that he is succeeding at this as, aside from the aforementioned artists, Rowan's music has also been compared to Jacques Brel, Mr Bungle, Danny Elfman, Jeff Martin, Muse, Grizzly Bear, Midlake and David Sylvian.

'The Mad Pride' is a reference to the mass movement known as 'Mad Pride'. "Mad Pride activists seek to re-educate the general public on such subjects as the causes of mental disorders, the experiences of those using the mental health system, and the global suicide pandemic."

Debbie Goodman

Debbie Goodman went from rocking "music row" in Nashville, Tennessee to jamming "the strip" in Los Angeles, California.  She went from touring the eastern coast of the United States while fronting a rock band, to playing every place you've heard of (House of Blues, The Viper Room, etc) with just her voice and her guitar...Whether she is fronting her now rock and blues band, or getting more intimate with just her and her guitar and her bongo player, her mesmerizingly beautiful vocals will take you on a journey through all the songs that come from her heart.

Diane Marie Kloba


I was born in Chicago and was a simple poet from an early age. I began playing guitar at about 17 when I bought my first guitar. Music and poetry always being my passion, I joined many original alternative rock bands with a somewhat sophisticated punk attitude and style. Finally in the early 1990s  formed The Silent Workers. We were regulars for about nine years on the Chicago club scene and festival shows, . Our recording Quark received local and national airplay, including live performances on radio stations
In 2004 I released a solo  recording ‘I Kid You Not’ on Striped Shirt Records. Punk attitude and subtle humor, star gazing thoughts and hints of anti-pop, this album was a winner and went on to be voted as the #9 album of the year in The Village Voice Pazz and Jop poll for 2004. In May 2005 I released ‘Messages From The Ionosphere’. Urgent vocals are backed with hip-hop style shouts that serve as a Greek chorus to the songs drama.
In late  ‘For You Stranger’, a dedication to the musicians, artists and inventors in this world.
In a place where pop music is not a goal but an avoidance, I tried to create an urgently approachable and still somewhat avant garde work titled For You, Stranger. While keeping the attitude, verse and vibe up front, bent jazz and twisted surf are placed neatly between alternative and punk rock sonics. The resulting overall style is performance art educated by a punk aesthetic. Reviews of this CD say "there is not a cliché or pop pandering melody or guitar line to be found. I am called a free spirited songwriter who performs wry, ramshackle avant pop. Also that my technique is never lazy or unmusical. Charming and emotional. I love you rock critics for your descriptions of me, I would not know what else to say!!
I am now a voting member of The Recording Academy.
My favorite artists are Fionna Apple, Regina Spector, Isis, Muse, Arcade Fire, Radio Head, Eminem, Linkin Park, Scribe One, Jimmi Henrix, old Bob Dylan,oh and anything new.
My newest creation is titled "I AM AN UNKNOWN ARTIST" It is by far the most polished work I have obtained while still being true to my untamed performance art. Everyone from beat poets to avant pop fans and just plain good music lovers will enjoy this one. It is a personally revealing CD , emotional and warm, fun and grabbing.
